Manutan group (Overtoom) is looking for a fast and flexible E-Commerce solution
The extensive service package (full service from consultancy to hosting of applications) Softlution offers, short implementation schedules and our international approach were crucial factors for Manutan to decide for Softlution as service provider.

International project teams are of particular interest because the company plans to involve their Dutch, Belgian and French offices in the project.
For Manutan trading more than 200,000 products it is important to optimize both their sales channels – E-Commerce shops and mail order. In order to handle the mass of data and simultaneously be able to manage and present them effectively, Manutan needs quick and flexible solutions. Therefore it goes without saying that their current web shop Pro Software based on an older Intershop version should be substituted by the fast 6.x Intershop which is much quicker.
Manutan decided to start the implementation project at Manutan in France and at Overtoom in the Netherlands. Rollouts to the other locations will follow.

The Manutan Group disposes of 200.000 articles in its assortment, published in 200 catalogues and presented on 24 webshops. Due to this they are able to offer their 600.000 European customers a wide range of products.
The customer base of this company derives from different industries. The Manutan group is a supplier of several business materials which are related to transport, stock, industrial equipments, safety, hygiene, package etc.. The Dutch company Overtoom belongs to the Manutan group also.
