Reed Elsevier decides for Intershop Enfinity Suite 6.2 with a FAS at Reed Business

Thanks to a recommendation Reed Business - a Reed Elsevier division - got in contact with the Softlution Group. Reed Elsevier was looking for a competent implementation partner to provide Reed Business with a high-performance E-Commerce system.

Main target for this implementation was the generation of additional turnover by means of advanced eMarketing methods, such as affiliates, cross- and up-selling, references and product evaluations.

After an in-depth analysis of the current situation at Reed Business Softlution suggested Intershop’s Enfinity Suite 6.2 as suitable software solution. Its implementation was accompanied by the integration of Fredhopper Access Server 6 (FAS) which enables advanced search possibilities and references.

FAS is used as eMarketing tool to support fast and easy findings within search engines. It also adds to a better structuring and navigation of products in the shop.

Softlution’s cooperation with Fredhopper enables their customers not only to profit from premium E-Commerce systems but also from complementary solutions to raise their online turnover.
